Building a strong foundation for Las Vegas over 24 years.

It all started in 2000

Olympia Companies president and founder Garry Goett and Vice President Guy Inzalaco asked themselves how, after finding success by building some of the city’s most acclaimed neighborhoods and entertainment venues, could they build an even better Las Vegas? They saw that so many of the people and families who provide the true foundation of our city needed more help than was available.

Inspired by his own family and a desire to share his success, Garry and his wife Darilyne started Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation with the mission to improve the quality of life of underserved families in southern Nevada, with a special emphasis on women and children. They would do this by supporting local charities that address personal, financial, and educational enrichment programs; assistance programs for the intellectually disabled; and programs for the needs and issues of critically ill women or children and their families.

Garry is not only a savvy and successful developer, but he is also a passionate and committed philanthropist,” said Angela Rock, OCCF Executive Director “His desire to uplift those in need in our community is more than admirable and the impact of these funds and support is life-changing for many of the beneficiaries.”

After hosting small charitable events and serving on the boards of local charities, Garry and OCCF launched the Governor’s Black Tie Invitational in 2000 as a small club event to raise money. Since then, the event has grown into a three-day celebration featuring major corporate sponsors, headline entertainment, and a golf tournament. The OCCF hosts other community -focused events throughout the year, bringing in millions that have been distributed to local charities and made a huge difference in the lives of so many.

Under the leadership of Garry, Guy, and Brett Goett, Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation continues to raise funds and give to those in need, all in hopes of building a strong foundation for families.
